Rua ,at the end of chapters 9& 10 do you notice a change in Gertie's perspective towards the villagers? Is there any reflection on Gertie's mind or any lesson that she recognizes?
ReplyDeleteofcourse, she knew that she was doing a mistake in keeping the villagers away from her, because without them Hilda would've died. Beside that the villagers took a good care of Gertie and Ellen while Hilda was in the hospital, I think this gave Gertie a good lesson of how life can't be lived without sharing it with others.
ReplyDeleteThanks rua for the summary
ReplyDeleteyou took the most important points in the chapters but at the end of chapter 10 she was grateful but in the same time she did not want any other intrusion in her life from the villagers
any way I like your summary it is actually similar to mine ;p
good job sweety
